Good morning, Last night the council voted on the proposal for the boarding house proposed at 59 Cobham Street. The Councillors voted unanimously (13 - 0) to refuse the proposal. This has been a long process involving door knocks, petitions, council committee meetings and preparing speaches, but we got the right decision in the end. While the proposal could be appealed in the courts, or a new proposal submitted its good to know the council will listen to residents concerns. Thankyou to all those that signed their support. The council noted the number of objections and it really helped to solidify this development was not in the communities interest. David Smith
