Hi all, By now you may have seen the story in the Daily Telegraph ( and the Blacktown Advocate) about the proposed boarding house at 59 Cobham Street. If you haven't you can check it out on yesterday's update. The story refers to an upcoming meeting between Councillor Gillies and residents this Saturday. I have spoken to Kevin today and can confirm that there will be a meeting this weekend (Saturday the 17th) at 11am. It will be opposite the development at the daycare carpark. Everyone is welcome that has concerns about the boarding house. Councillor Kevin Gillies and Councillor Julie Griffiths are both attending and will talk about the role of state legislation in affordable housing, what extra information they know about the development and where we go from here.
