Though Minister Osborne has approved Rezone application of Cannabis store in UBC ( at 5784 University Blvd.) and this case is moving toward Licensing approval process ( will happen in Metro Vancouver board meeting in June), UEL CAC( Community Advisory Council) is organizing a written petition( Please print, sign and scan the original signed petition and email it as an attachment to uelcac@gmail.com with subject:  Attn:  Signed Cannabis Petition ideally by Mar. 25, 2022). MLA of Point Grey area, Minister Eby has stated that he would be willing to take these written petition to the Ministry if we can gather a great number of signatures. Hopefully can alter Minister Osborne’s Rezone decision.
