The issue

The family-friendly environment around Arcade Road of Mont Albert North, VIC is facing a significant concern with the recent application for a liquor license in our neighbourhood.

There is a liquor licence application:
Premises Address: 15 ARCADE RD, MONT ALBERT NORTH 3129
Applicant: MATILDA COLLECTIVE PTY LTD

Please sign our petition if you think granting of the liquor licence would have adverse impacts on the amenity of the area or if you have following concerns:

  • Do you worry that there will be increasing noise level and affect the quiet enjoyment of the area?
  • Do you worry that there will be increasing traffic and parking problems for prolonged hours?

  • Do you concern that there will be more littering problem in the surrounding area?

  • Do you want an alcohol serving venue in the existing child-friendly environment in your neighbourhood?

  • Do you worry that your child has a higher chance to expose to intoxicated individuals in your neighbourhood?

As you may be aware of there are two liquor licence applications on the Arcade Road, granting of liquor licence to one venue may also open the door for another application or future application in the surrounding area. Do you really want that happen to our community?

We intend to include this petition in our submission to Liquor Control Victoria for responding the applicant’s letter.

If you still want to express your concerns and say NO to the application, please sign on this petition.
