It’s been 3 months since the deadline to comment and object to this development.

We are still waiting for an inspector to be allocated by the Secretary of State , that inspector will then make a site visit and final decision.

The architect’s barrister mentioned this petition over 10 times in their 12 page closing statement to the planning inspectorate. It certainly made a big impact.

They admit they spent “an unnecessary amount of time analysing the petition”

Their legal team went through every signatories postcode to calculate how many of the 2000+ signatures were from the local area. Even with just signatures from TN38, there are still more objectors than supporters.
