Oakland University has decided that they will be opening housing for the 2020 school year and will continue with classes either face-to-face/online or fully online. 

With the pandemic going on a lot of classes have switched to fully online. Some students have all of their classes online or majority of them online. With that being said, for a lot of students there is no point to stay on campus this fall semester and the university is still charging $200 to cancel our housing contracts. We feel that this is unfair due to the circumstances and we are requesting to have this fee waived.

Along with that, students are still paying full tuition cost of $28,388.00 if you're staying on campus and $17,366 if you're not staying on campus. Most students will be taking online classes or a hybrid course of online and face-to-face but this way of learning is completely different from what we signed up for and with the new covid-19 policies you don't get the full experience of staying on campus. The resources that we have available on our campus will be exhaust because more people will need them and less people can use them due to social distancing. We are asking you to reduce our tuition cost a bit due to the circumstances at hand.
