Dear John Fisher,
You actively ruined the Oakland Athletics Organization while alienating the best fans in baseball. To say we are disgusted with your actions is an understatement. We are disappointed. We are heartbroken. We are livid. The way you used our City to leverage a better deal in Las Vegas is absolutely disgusting and true betrayal. As a billionaire, you were only $90 million away from finishing the deal in Oakland. Instead, you back-stab the Community of Oakland while tricking Las Vegas Residents into giving you (a billionaire) $500 million in tax credits (not a done deal yet).
Let us get one thing straight. We will NOT let a billionaire control the City of Oakland. We are proud of Sheng Thao's actions this past week, and we stand with the City of Oakland. It's time to #SELLTHETEAM.
