We hope you enjoyed Opening Day as the A's defeated the Los Angeles Angels 2-1. The Coliseum was absolutely electric, and we thank the dedicated fans for supporting this team!
Additionally, the A's and the City of Oakland officially won the lawsuit over the Howard Terminal Ballpark. This is the first time Mayor Thao has tweeted regarding her support for the Howard Terminal Stadium, and we appreciate her effort to keep our team in Oakland. The fight is not over. Together, we can continue building on the unique traditions with the Oakland A's. The Howard Terminal stadium will clean up the Howard Terminal area significantly, while providing numerous employment opportunities and a vast amount of housing.
