O2's mobile network coverage in Bidwell West is extremely poor. 

Despite the network provider's online signal checker showing good coverage both indoors and outdoors, many residents are unable to make or receive any calls whatsoever.

Up until several years ago the area now known as Bidwell West was merely farmland and therefore the need for reliable mobile coverage was minimal. However over the past five or so years, an estimated 1,800 homes have been built on the site. Consequently the requirement for connectivity in the area is now much greater than it ever was.

Without quick and meaningful improvement to their network, O2 is likely to find that they will continue losing customers to other providers such as Three Mobile. With hundreds of 02's customers living in Bidwell West this would represent a significant and permanent loss of revenue to the company.
