Remove plastic from fruit and vegetable section

Plastic bag consumption is getting worse and worse. The fruit and vegetable department in most supermarkets holds rolls of plastic bags which are used excessively for fruit and vegetables, sometimes even just one piece of fruit per plastic bag. We want change. By the introduction of paper bags into our supermarkets, people will have the opportunity to help sustain our planet. The current plastic bags are not typically recyclable as they are thin, cheap and don't have handles, they contribute to the 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris in our ocean today. Please sign this petition to influence change in our supermarkets, NO MORE PLASTIC BAGS!!!
