Stop the ridiculous introduction of enforced mask wearing at weddings and private events in New Zealand.

Enough is enough. After two crippling years under covid rules and regulations and the enforcement of vaccinations for freedoms and summer - kiwis need and deserve to be able to celebrate weddings and events.

These “new” rules as of 27th January will cripple the weddings and events industry. Vendors need to be able to work, these events will all be cancelled with the enforcement of mask rules. It especially does not make sense when everyone can be seated together without masks for dinner.
Most vendors make their income for the whole year though the next few months, with no offer of financial support from the govt to support the industry. 

Couples also deserve to celebrate their weddings, it’s been a stressful few years - to enforce this rule suddenly is devastating to many who have already been effected by COVID. 

Scrap the masks at wedding gatherings (for guests and couples), get vaccinated, wash your hands and let’s celebrate LOVE
