Adopt a 'sustainable palm oil only' law

Adopt a 'sustainable palm oil only' law
The issue
Deforestation of the tropical rainforest is becoming an ever increasing problem in places such as Brazil, Borneo, Indonesia and Malaysia. The rainforest is home to many critically endangered species of animals, and if we keep chopping down their home to produce unsustainable palm oil, all of these animals will be gone... Forever.
But it's not just animals getting harmed, it's humans too. Logging of the rainforest is one of the most dangerous jobs of all. Hundreds of loggers die or get severely injured each year because of the dangerous nature of their jobs.
NZ needs to adopt a 'sustainable palm oil only' law so that we can keep producing palm oil, whilst also sustaining a healthy natural habitat for the animals of the rainforest.
