The crossing of the quarter-mile through the Main St. / Washington Ave. Intersection (new Square Exit/Entrance), which should've taken 45 seconds, is fully clogged daily with gridlocked traffic during rush hour!!

This intersection was initially built going back decades when it was a quiet and empty neighborhood! Since then, no one has ever looked into the safety and accommodation of this intersection!

Traffic is still controlled with an outdated 'single traffic light' without any 'arrows, or smart-sensors!' The narrow lanes, and the lack of turning lanes, causes it a horrible and dangerous struggle to pass the way through!

1. Every driver has a schedule that gets all messed up because of the traffic delay!
2. It's constantly causing drivers to get enraged and to make unsafe decisions! (E.G., passing Red-Light; tail-gating; shoulder-passing; and more!)
3. Considering that this is the primary and only entrance AND exit to a village with over 8K residents(!!), this is critically menacing and has to be worked on EMERGENCY!

Lots of effort and influence have been put on the State and the local government to bring the right awareness of whats going on; yet, unfurtunetaly, there is no plan for improvement.
