When an Individual is Excessively Sentenced it takes a toll Mentally and Physically not only on them but their family. 
After over 12 years of Incarceration in a Max facility Butch has experienced many acts of violence, a lot of noise, inmates with serious Mental Illness , shots fired in the yard, inmates dieing from drugs falling in the yard, lockdowns, Covid, tear gas shot into the yard, fights, blood , the box, many transfers, cells destroyed by guards. The Trauma has had to have been horrible, unimaginable to us . 
Not once has in Mentioned a counseling session, group therapy, it took years to get a cavity filled . No physical , No eye exam. It’s been over 12 years. His Mental Health has never been addressed ever. 
I pray for his mind every day. Please send prayers , he needs them now more than ever. 
After Max for over 10 years where you have your own cell , your property is safe when you leave your cell . You ultimately have more privacy in the over all picture, he was sent to a Minimum which is supposed to be a step up , I guess. But he is in a dorm setting, much more noise, people in your stuff, no privacy . For a person who never could handle a lot of people at one time this is so hard for him, with no support or counseling , just thrown to the wolves( sorta speak) it has to be worse than anything else.

Please send prayers and courage for he needs it more than ever right now.
