The Greenpoint Renaissance Enterprise Corp (GREC) believes strongly that additional traffic calming measures are needed in the North Brooklyn area north of Metropolitan Avenue and south of Meeker Avenue and the Cooper Park area. By signing this petition, you are renewing the support for GREC's application for a Neighborhood Slow Zone thru the NYC Dept. of Transportation. This proposal will reduce the speed limit within the zone to 20 MPH, and install other measures to calm traffic.
