LET HPD HEAR US ON THE DAY AFTER ELECTION! Lower East Side presentation by HPD! Wednesday Nov 9 at 6:30pm! Great Hall at Cooper Union, 7 East 7th Street (between Cooper Square & 3rd Ave). That's right, the beautiful Cooper Union Great Hall where Abraham Lincoln spoke in 1860! Let's support our HDFC brothers and sisters in the Lower East Side and stand by them as they KEEP THE PRESSURE ON the City and HPD! Remember: WE VOTE, and the City Council Members are taking notice! If we say loud and clear to the City Council that we don't agree with HPD's plan, and the City Council listens, HPD's plan can't move forward! The bigger the turnout, the more power we have to determine the outcome! Also: Remember that knowing that other people agree with you might make you feel better, but what can actually help us WIN THIS FIGHT is for you and your neighbors to write emails, letters and make phone calls to your local City Council Member and (very important) also to the Speaker of the City Council Melissa Mark-Viverito.
