NYC City Planning Commission unanimously approved the project as per report (click Here) . We are just one step away from having a Bronx animal shelter and low cost state of the art clinic. We just need the city council to approve the site.
Dear Speaker Corey Johnson,
Please don't permit a Real Estate Developer to take the proposed Bartow site from our state of art animal shelter and low-cost clinic. The Bronx surrenders the most animals in the city and overburdens the other shelters. This results in less space, less time and less care for the animals throughout the city.
The Bronx residents has no low cost veterinary services and often travel outside the Bronx for pet care. There is no alternative site for the proposed animal shelter and we can't afford anymore delays.
Thank you
