Supporters of a controversial plan to put the Bronx's first animal shelter in Co-op City took aim at the borough president Tuesday, a day after he said he opposed the idea. Bronx Animal Rights Electors, Co-op residents, and animal advocates held a quick press rally after our Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz rejected the state of the art Bronx shelter and Veterinary Clinic at Bay Plaza. The city council will decide next and we will post soon their names and contact for all animal lovers and compassionate people to call and ask them to do the right thing.
