Since the petition was launched, several events have taken place in our city in which New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani played a direct role.
This involvement has not always, nor will it necessarily in the future, yield a positive outcome for the city and its residents.
Considering this, we have decided to update the content of the petition to reflect the current situation in New York City.
