Stop Apple Farm's & Systemic Abuse of Essential Workers

Stop Apple Farm's & Systemic Abuse of Essential Workers
The Issue
Apple Farms & Systemic Abuse of Essential Workers
The abuse of essential workers by denying them fair and legal compensation for hours worked, pay for overtime hours worked, mandatory benefits and reasonable working conditions cannot be tolerated and must be investigated and prosecuted. Businesses abusing workers with “under the table” compensation, tax avoidance schemes and systemic abuse of workers must be held accountable.
Apple Farm grocers needs to know that abuses of essential workers do not go unseen and will not be ignored. Since opening as a “cash only” supermarket years ago, they have built their business on the backs of workers who are denied legal compensation and protections. They no longer operate on a cash only basis but they have never stopped exploitation of essential workers and the rampant disregard of worker rights and protections.
We can't let Apple Farm rake workers under the table. They are bad apples.
We urge the City, State and Federal enforcement agencies to immediately initiate investigations and proceedings to protect workers and stop the abuse and we ask customers to join us in boycotting businesses refusing to comply with existing laws and protections for our most essential and venerable workers.
