We oppose the placement of wind turbines in Lake Erie!

• We oppose the industrialization of Lake Erie. It is fragile ecosystem and great strides have been made in restoring and protecting the Great Lakes. (Reference: https://binational.net )
• The Great Lakes are national treasure and should be treated as such. Would we put wind turbines in Yellow Stone National Park?
• Lake Erie is the source of clean drinking water for OVER 11 MILLION PEOPLE. We will not gamble with the public health!
• The Lake Erie fishing industry is a $16 billion dollar industry. What will the installation of hundreds of large metal wind turbines do the wildlife?
• One in three Canadians and one in ten American live in the Great Lakes Basin. They will not stop at 50 or 100 wind turbines.. if this plan moves forward, the Great Lakes could soon be filled with wind turbines. 
• The maintenance and replacement of the wind turbines is uncertain and risky. These are machines that contain part that will break down and oil that will leak. 

Join us to STOP THE INSTALLATION OF WIND TURBINES IN LAKE ERIE.

Let's stop this NOW before a sad and scary precedent is set and the fight will move to large and bigger projects.
