Dear Jon Stewart,

We recognize your retirement and that you are, most assuredly, fed up with the corruption and bullshit of politics, we ask -in fact- BEG you to come out of retirement for one night only to host a Town Hall with Bernie Sanders prior to the New York Democratic Primary on 19th April.

With recent news that Hillary Clinton is refusing to debate Sanders given “tone” of his campaign, we ask you to allow Bernie Sanders to share his message and campaign with New York voters. We are sure that you know the odds stacked against him in the mainstream media. We ask only for a public chance for Sanders to speak and by all means, question him as you would any other candidate.

You’ve said that in the “stage-managed, focus-group-driven candidates that (Sanders’) authenticity comes across as lunacy” and implore you to bring some authenticity back into our political system just once more.
