The below letter was sent to the Department of Health along with over 200 signatures requesting a public hearing for the 4 proposals that were published in the NY register on 12/15/2021. 

We also want the ARRC chairmen, Senator Felder and Assemblymen Quart to review these 4 proposals.

We are sending this letter to request a public hearing for four proposals from the NY Register.  They can be found in the December 15, 2021 Vol. XLIII Issue 50

Health, Department of 

4 / Prevention of COVID-19 Transmission by Covered Entities (EP) 

8 / Investigation of Communicable Disease; Isolation and Quarantine (EP) 

10 / Face Coverings for COVID-19 Prevention (EP) 

12 / Personal Caregiving and Compassionate Caregiving Visitors in Nursing Homes (NH’s) and Adult Care Facilities (ACF’s) (EP)

It is our understanding that a request for a public hearing can be made to the Department of Health as it states in State Administrative Procedure Act (SAPA) Chapter 82, Article 2. 

We have 125 signatures along with this letter as well as an online petition was generated to be able to capture more signatures in a quick manner. 

We appreciate someone getting back to us on our request for a public hearing in a timely manner as I know public comments end on Monday February 14, 2022.
