The Issue
Patrice Capo was the owner of bayridge bicycle world on 3rd ave for 20 years .While promoting the sport of cycling she was also targeting the over all benefits of fitness in general. she has helped implicate a fitness program for seniors at the bayridge jewish center . patrice also put herself and her business on the line to help with problem youth in the community by offering guidance and employment, as well as the benefits of exercise and fitness to better themselves. she also put her health and well being on the line by volunteering at the bucket brigade down at the world trade center on 911. during this time she also negotiated from her bicycle distributors a 500 bicycle donation to raffle off for the families of our fallen firefighters. patrice succumbed to cancer in 2009, bayridge bicycle world is still in the community run by her husband michael and her son anthony. anthony followed in his moms footsteps by opening a gym in the bayridge community promoting health and fitness like his mom. so please help our family in honoring and remembering a bayridge legend, and help us memorialize a legacy.
