Dogs are companion animals and give so much comfort to their owners.  Responsible owners and their dogs in a civilised world should be granted access to public transport in order to lessen individual carbon footprint and add to community spirit and wellbeing.  Dogs even fly domestically with their owners in other civilised countries.

Dogs can be given conditional access to public transport in order to keep all groups 'happy'.  Conditions such as; all dogs on public transport must wear a muzzle or be confined to an appropriate enclosure, if dog's urinate or defecate the owner must clean and remove or receive an on the spot $1000 fine.  Responsible Dog owners should not be penalised due to irrational fear or irresponsible dog owner actions.  Responsible law abiding adults exist in our society, lets celebrate their humanity!
