It's time for our traffic lights to be reviewed. Reduce stress in drivers, increase traffic flow while keeping our roads safe.

1. Ever come to a set of lights to turn right and because you were too late, you miss the arrow and need to wait a whole cycle before you get that green arrow?Solution: If there is clear visibility on incoming traffic, the red arrow should drop off so you can proceed to turn right. It's safe and keeps us moving.
2. Turning left at red lights. If ahead is visibile, we should be allowed to turn left at any traffic lights after stopping. European countries and in the USA allow to turn on red because there is no risk at all and they keep the traffic moving.

When was the last time our traffic light system was reviewed?

How much fuel and emission can we save compared to that extra 2 minutes per car sitting at the lights waiting to turn left?  For nothing?
