Construct a mountain biking trail on Malabar Headland

The issue

Mountain bikers in Eastern Sydney are deprived of local trails to ride and instead are forced to travel long and traffic-ridden distances to either the Northern Beaches, the Far-Western suburbs or the Royal National Park. As Malabar Headland has just been handed over to the National Parks, plans are being made for its use, including trails for walking. This is a perfect opportunity to open a purpose built MTB trail on Malabar Headland. This would would reduce the occurrence of illegal trailbuilding, helping the Headland's environment, thereby improving the reputation of mountain bikers — giving people in the Eastern Suburbs an opportunity to try and continue the sport in their own backyard while providing people the opportunity to explore the beautiful Headland by bike. Please help the dream of mountain bikers all over the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney to have a local trail become a reality.
