Hello everyone, its Rachel. I just got an email from Minister Pru Goward. She is going to talk to the nsw education minister Adrian Piccoli about my idea to educate all nsw school kids on domestic violence and getting help. The education minister needs to be involved if the change is to be implemented. I was so thrilled with the response from Pru in my meeting last week but I am a bit worried my idea will be pushed aside or forgotten about. We need to keep the pressure on to act urgently on education to save other children from the hurt I am feeling. Please please email Minister Piccoli at office@piccoli.minister.nsw.gov.au and Minister Goward at office@premier.nsw.gov.au asking them to make DV education in nsw schools an urgent priority for change!!
