Wage Revision for the officers/employees of PSGICs is due from 1st August 2017 and the same has not been settled even after 54 months. They have been working tirelessly to fulfill government's commitment towards the nation and has played a significant role for the "implementation of govt schemes which are extremely important for the economically downtrodden population of this nation such as PRADHAN MANTRI FASAL BIMA YOJANA(PMFBY), PRADHAN MANTRI SURAKSHA BIMA YOJANA(PMSBY) and PRADHAN MANTRI GARIB KALYAN PACKAGE (PMGKP).

Despite all these contributions, the treatment given to this sector on the important issue of Wage revision is disturbing and demoralizing the workforce. The retail inflation rises to the 8 year high but the PSGIC employees are still working on the 2012 payscale.
