NPR has been a flagship of independent reporting that sets the standard for unbiased news. Recently, they started airing sponsorship spots for Wells Fargo, an organization that has systematically defrauded the American public in many ways for many years.

I'm asking you to sign this petition to NPR that they might better scrutinize the value of sponsors in relation to their brand integrity. Whether NPR marketing realizes it or not, allowing sponsors of ill repute lowers the integrity of the organization, while bolstering the integrity of the sponsor. It's how advertising works. By associating themselves with NPR, Wells Fargo is attempting to elevate their perceived integrity. While the government has fined Wells Fargo, it's customers were left with little recourse. 

By allowing a corporate greed sponsor, NPR has reduced its own effectiveness and perceived integrity.

Tell NPR that this corporate greed sponsor is unacceptable. Tell NPR to jettison Wells Fargo.
