Animax channel is, well more like was, the only channel to broadcast Japanese animes in India since 2004. Many people have been religiously following anime and animax since then, but recently the sony entertainment changed the format and changed Animax to "Sony yay!" Which shows senseless american shows which is ALSO aired by Cartoon Network, Pogo and other kids channel. 

Apparently Sony made two marks with one stone and announced that content of Animax can be found in their application 'Sony Liv' to promote the website as well. 

Those who do not have internet on regular basis may not be able to access Sony Liv. Moreover watching anime on television is totally different from watching it online.  

Recently the fan base to anime lovers has increased and more number of teenagers and adults watch animax. I have seen people who watched only animax on daily basis. Let us fight for what we want.
