Les associations Jiboiana, Espirito Mundo et Rise for Climate Belgium ont le plaisir de vous inviter à un rassemblement ce jeudi à partir de 12h Place du Luxembourg devant le Parlement Européen.
Objectif : tous ensemble réaffirmer notre opposition au Traité UE-Mercosur qui va détruire l'Amazonie et la vie des peuples de la Forêt.
Avec la participation de leaders d'Amazonie, ils sont Huni Kuin, Karaja et Munduruku et sont en Europe du 15 octobre au 12 novembre dans le cadre d'un agenda politique (Paris, Glasgow pour la COY16 et la COP26 et Bruxelles) . Ils veulent également sensibiliser les citoyens sur leur rôle dans la préservation de la Nature.
Le rassemblement se tiendra en présence des eurodéputées Marisa Matias, Marie Toussaint (qui vient de rentrer aussi de la COP 26) et de Saskia Bricmont . Le groupe de percussions brésiliennes « Baque de Chuva » animera la manifestation avec des musiques et chants traditionnels.

Return COP 26 and EU-Mercosur. This Thursday 12 p.m. Place Luxembourg: Gathering of indigenous peoples, collectives and MEPs
The Jiboiana, Espirito Mundo and Rise for Climate Belgium associations are pleased to invite you to a gathering this Thursday from 12 p.m. (until approximately 1:30 p.m.) Place du Luxembourg in front of the European Parliament. Objective: upon return from COP 26, all together reaffirm our opposition to the EU-Mercosur Treaty which will destroy the Amazon and the lives of the peoples of the Forest. With the participation of leaders from the Amazon, they are Huni Kuin, Karaja and Munduruku and are in Europe from October 15 to November 12 as part of a political agenda (Paris, Glasgow for COY16 and COP26 and Brussels). They also want to make citizens aware of their role in the preservation of Nature. The gathering will be held in the presence of MEPs Marisa Matias, Marie Toussaint (who has also just returned from COP 26) and Saskia Bricmont. The Brazilian percussion group "Baque de Chuva" will animate the event with traditional music and songs.
