Regatta Way Sports Ground is now under threat with Nottinghamshire County Council wanting to use the land for future housing or two new schools.

Regatta Way Sports Ground is the home of West Bridgford Colts, West Bridgford Football Club & Gedling & Sherwood Cricket Club. 

West Bridgford Colts is the largest youth football club in the country providing 111 teams from u5 - adult with 80,000 hours of sporting opportunities every year.

Regatta Way is also the home to Gedling & Sherwood Cricket Club who over their 90-year history have provided thousands of adults and young people with the opportunity to play cricket. 

These clubs will struggle to survive if they lose their West Bridgford home. 

The land is also in a flood plain and greenbelt and the plans will have a huge impact on the local environment and infrastructure.
