When we first heard Banksy had gifted his time and talent to the people of Nottingham with the iconic Hoola- hoop girl in Lenton we were totally delighted and excited.

Nottingham needed that boost and the City  Council need to get this iconic piece of Art back for the people and protect it and treasure it for generations to come. For many , this was  a symbol of freedom during  lockdown in this most brutal of years.

Why should someone profit from this decision or indeed loot an artwork of significant importance to both the community and people of Nottingham? If we all went and did the same around the other Banksy  works  where would that put all of the other Banksy's in Bristol and Birmingham?

The City Council needs to act now and so do the people of Nottingham by joining this petition and restoring this work of art to our city. I Know as a Notts boy what Robin Hood would of made of it, so lets take action and get this sorted together.
