Petition updateNotice of Loss of Confidence in CSG LeadershipRESPONSE TO CBA-SG: Gaslighting Victims & Misusing Funds is Not "Accountability"

To the Student Body:

We have reviewed the recent statement from the CBA-SG regarding the safety incidents and financial concerns. The administration's denial of these serious issues contradicts documented evidence and witness testimonies. We present the following facts based on available records.

  1. Regarding Student Safety. The administration has dismissed reports of medical emergencies as false. This stands in direct contrast to verified accounts from the student body.
    • The Evidence: We have secured testimony from students who lost consciousness due to the use of smoke effects in a poorly ventilated venue.
    • The Reality: Multiple students required emergency medical assistance. To dismiss these injuries as "false claims" is a disservice to the victims.
  2. Regarding Financial Allocations. The statement that budget concerns are "unfounded" is inconsistent with the 2024-2025 2nd Semester Audit Report.
    • Donation Expenses: P43,258.00
    • Meals & Entertainment: P26,000+
    • Medical/Safety Protocols: P0.00
    • Conclusion: The financial records indicate that funds were available for discretionary spending and meals, but not for the essential safety measures required to protect the student body.
  3. Regarding Internal Resolution. The proposal to address these matters "internally" is insufficient. The recent resignation of the Vice Governor and the administrative summoning of JPIA and ECOSOC officers suggest that the internal environment is compromised.

We maintain our demand for external accountability and the immediate resignation of the current leadership.
