We are pleased to announce that Norwich's Italian Heritage & Cultural Committee met with Mayor Peter Nystrom and decided to remove any and all reference to Christopher Columbus from the monument!! We are going ahead with our original event date of Sunday 7/5/2020 2PM-4PM. However, instead of a protest we are having a multicultural celebration of our respective heritage! We would like the Native, Italian, & Black communities as well as all others to join us on the above date at the Chelsea Parade Historic District of Norwich! Hosted by We Won't Stand Down
