Paul Krugman, (PhD, Econ.) won the 2008 Nobel Prize for Economic Sciences "for his analysis of trade patterns and location of economic activity". Since then he has used the gravitas earned through that in order to defend policies that have bailed out both big banks and big government.

• He has excused the large banks like Lehman Bros. for causing the 2008 financial crisis. At the same time he has justified the Wall St. bailouts, and argued that certain banks should be "too big to fail" meaning we would have to bail them out as taxpayers.
• He has called for the bailout by the EU of Spain and Greece while simultaneously condemning any change of financial policies in that country thereby guaranteeing that the bailouts would do nothing.
• He recently claimed America's cities are a success story despite the fact that even Obama's administration has lamented the state of infrastructure there, and Obama's home town of Chicago is experiencing a record year in murders.
• Krugman has defended the Obamacare model to such an extent that he's labelled critics on both the right (Ted Cruz) and the left (Bernie Sanders) to be prejudiced or trash talkers even as he knew that the system has become a failure and very recently admitted that it is a "Rube Goldberg device" created "on the cheap", meaning it is an unstable contraption.

Let's give Krugman a refresher course. Now that Obamacare is likely to require a bailout give him an ultimatum: Either return your Nobel Prize, or donate the prize money to the Obamacare bailout as a token of your remorse.
