17 Year old Stephanie Meckley is 3 months away from her high school graduation. Due to a classmate suggesting that she was in possesion of "illegal substances" school officials searched this student and found pepper spray and a small utility knife inside of her backpack. The pepper spray was purchased by her parents as she is a young girl who walks as her primary form of transportation.The utility knife was a gift from her deceased grandfather, and is smaller than your typical Swiss Army Knife.

The Board of Education is trying expel this student for carrying protection in a city where assaults, shootings and murders are becoming more commonplace.

Please tell the Norwalk Board of Education not to expel this young girl right before graduation.
