SAVE MY DAD AND BROTHER'S LIFE - WE HAVE ONLY A FEW DAYS

Both my dad AND my brother are fighting for their life in the Intensive Care Unit (COVID-19 ICU) on ventilators - my father is suffering organ failure and they have tried everything except the new convalescent plasma program. The FDA approved the use just two days ago on April 8th. Any doctor can submit the application and get an approval to use the plasma in 4 hours!!! The hospital won't do it yet because of red tape. This may be our last hope!!! They have the plasma available...we just need the Northwell Hospital system (northwell.edu @northwellhealth) to do it!!!!
My dad and brother are STILL FIGHTING. My father however is in worse shape with more severe organ damage. His kidneys in particular on the edge of a compete shut down. They have been trying to avoid dialysis as they fear it may cause cardiac arrest but they have to try this afternoon because it may be his only chance. We are all on edge. Just three days ago the hospital called to say my dad was not going to make it through the night. They allowed us to come "say goodby". My other siblings made it from NYC and NJ in the hour.
We all had to put on special protective gear including double gloves and double masks to enter the COVID-19 unit. We got to hold my dad's hand and talk to him. We didn't say goodbye though...we were LOVING AND POSITIVE AND TOLD HIM HE'S GONNA BEAT THIS THING AND THAT WE WERE ALL THERE FOR HIM!!!. After we left it was gut-wrenching. Everyone cries, even the doctors cry every day.
THE DOCTORS CAN DO MORE...BUT THE NORTHWELL HOSPITAL'S (NORTHWELL.EDU) ADMINISTRATION WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO APPLY FOR THE 4 HOUR EMERGENCY APPROVAL TO TRY THE PLASMA. MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE. WE WILL PAY FOR EVERYTHING AND SIGN ANY RELEASE IF NEEDED...THIS IS OUR HOPE!!!
