We strongly oppose the Biltmore Land LLC plan to transform 460 acres of farmland along Whitmore Lake Road into subdivisions with densities as high as 1/4-acre.  The Biltmore proposal is grossly inconsistent with our Master Plan, which details our residents' vision and goals.   

Residential development on this scale will likely result in higher taxes, traffic snarls and Whitmore Lake schools will get none of the kids since all the property is in the Ann Arbor school district.

We urge the Northfield Township elected and appointed officials to swiftly reject Biltmore's proposal and send a clear message that we will defend our quality of life and our Master Plan!
