On Tuesday, April 2nd, this local coalition of Northfield area residents and students will, once again, speak during Public Comments at the Northfield City Council meeting.  While a resolution calling for a permanent ceasefire is not on the agenda, we are hopeful that it will be on a future agenda.  

We are inviting you / urging you to show up in numbers to let Council  know that this ask is supported by many in the community that is Northfield:  high school students, college students and townies.  Last time, there were fifty people at the Council meeting -- let's double that number this time.

Speakers:  speakers are welcome.  Public comments are limited to two minutes each and come close to the beginning of the meeting.  Please be resepectful in any comments:  aka "Minnesota nice".  We will have sign-up cards available.  

Schedule:

• 5:15 / 5:30:  show up / sign-up to speak
• 5:30:  the Ceasefire Choir will sing and lead in song
• 5:45 / 5:50:  enter Council
• You are welcome to leave after the Public Comments / some of us will stay for the duration of the Council meeting .
