In addition, for those who live in Northfield, we ask that you call or write your City Council rep and/or the At-Large reps and ask that they introduce or sponsor a Ceasefire Resolution to be voted on at the March 12 meeting.  A list of Council members and contact information can be found here.

I am calling to urge you to pass a ceasefire resolution to stop further loss and devastation in Gaza. We, as Northfield residents, want to see an end to the death and destruction in Gaza that claimed the lives nearly 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza, and displaced 2 million people, with no home to return to.

Thousands of children have been killed. If not from bombs... they’re dying from hunger or disease.

As an elected official, I urge you to stand up for human life, and call for a resolution that demands a permanent ceasefire, and allows for humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. Our collective voice is stronger than our individual voices.
