Next month, December 2021, the Northfield City Council will vote on a proposed new ordinance which will allow for retail marijuana sales in the city of Northfield, likely to occur in a new proposed establishment on Tilton Rd.
I am trying to collect as much information on the issue as possible so our town leaders can be fully informed on the issue. But most importantly so that our leaders will have a true understanding of whether or not there is support in our small town for this new ordinance. I urge you to forward this petition to anyone you know who lives in the city of Northfield. I hope it gets to every one of our adult citizens in our town. I respectfully assert that everyone should voice an opinion on this issue. It’s as easy as responding to this petition. If we are successful in appropriately circulating this petition, I will present the results to the council at the meeting in December.  Only after knowing whether or not the majority of the constituents want this new ordinance, can our city council vote appropriately.
