Durham Teesvalley Airport has a train station called Teesside Airport. Unfortunatly this station has became severely ran down and underused. Only 14 people used the station over a one year period. The station is owned by Northern Rail and only two trains stop here in a week! (1029 and 1216, both on Sunday) This needs too change, the station provides a link between train and plane yet many people don't realise it is there. I feel you should support this petition to get more people using a local station in need of some tender loving care. I started this petition to get more trains stopping their and more people using it. This can make a difference to the lives of regular families. The station is on the 'Bishop Line' which is a popular Northern Rail line. Other stations on the line are Bishop Auckland, Shildon, Newton Aycliffe, Heighington, North Road, Darlington, Dinsdale, Teesside Airport, Allens West, Eaglescliffe, Thornaby, Middlesbourgh, South Bank, British Steel Redcar, Redcar Central, Redcar East, Longbeck, Marske and Saltburn.

This route has many passengers but not enough realise the station is their. This station has plenty of potential.
