Northern Arizona University (as well as other major AZ schools) has switched students to online courses because of the increasing risk of Covid-19. Flagstaff is in a state of emergency and we don’t feel safe living in dorms of hundreds of adults and eating in a cafeteria with again, hundreds of adults. It is unfair for the Universities to make us pay for food that we are not consuming and pay for a room we are not in. We are simply asking to have charges cancelled or refunded for the month of school we are not attending. Allow us to social distance and stay safe instead of feeling the need to attend since we are being forced to pay for it. Let’s make ourselves heard.
