Currently there is no safe crossing between the areas of Priors Hall Park and Weldon Village in Corby Borough, Northants. 

The A43 that runs through the middle of these areas is often crossed by young families and there is no proper place to do so since the development of Priors Hall Park. 

There are soon to be thousands more homes developed in this area so the need for a safe footbridge/pedestrian crossing along this road is growing more and more important each day. 

This petition is to indicate to those making the decisions that there are a large number of people who like to see this crossing prioritised in the recently allocated £3.9million for infrastructure improvements. 

Let us not wait until a tragedy occurs before something is done.
