S.W.E.P (severe weather emergency protocol) is currently operating across MK, Wellingborough, Corby and Kettering but Northampton Borough Council do not feel it cold enough to activate the service for our homeless community.

Temperatures have reached below ‘0’ on some nights.

What will it take? Another 13 deaths like last year?

So many of those on the streets are already suffering illness, chest infections, coughs and colds. 4 out of 5 have mental illness and with a life exectancy of 47 years, these people are so vulnerable. 

With no-one listening, we all need to raise our voices on their behalf, put any judgement aside and try and help our fellow humans.

We all know Northampton Council is in bother due to the mis-spending of millions and the six fields saga but they need to stand up and do something NOW. It’s an outrage!!
