We use boxes for recycling and in the winter time this becomes awkard and a slip hazard transporting them from back of house to front. East Riding use wheelie bins supplied by council and they are in a lower bracket than Selby. Why could we not be provided with one or two wheelie bins to do the same as i am sure more people would recycle just on the basis of ease. People with a balance disorder or elderly people or ill people have an issue moving these bins and when full they become a health and safety issue as they can get full of glass and become a hazard moving in the 6 months of winter not only for the sick and elderly y but to all. Most boxes are missing there lids and therefore the paper bin becomes very heavy to move. I feel if a wheelie was supplied more people would be inclined to use. Large families are battling with these small boxes for recycling and therefore just give up on recycling.
