Many thanks to everyone who supported this petition - although the temporary lane will be removed this week the council have promised to apply for funds to make a permanent cycle lane available- hopefully next spring. Why not join us at 2:00 today to walk/cycle/scoot/etc along the route as a final fairwell to this temporary route and as a sign that we intent to ensure the council keep their promise to draw up plans for a more permanent solution.
