This petition is to OPPOSE the amendment being brought before the North Smithfield Town Council regarding a change to the noise ordinance law making it illegal to operate an off road, motorized vehicle within 300 feet of a residential home.  

Rhode Island does not currently have any legal public trails for off road vehicles to ride on.  Residents should be able to ride their off road vehicles on property that they own, with respect to the current noise ordinance times and days.
